Ebook About
Having worked for Southern Service Paws for a few years now, I like to think I'm prepared for just about any client meeting under the sun. I am dead wrong. The day I meet with single dad, Jacob Broaden, about potentially matching his daughter with one of our service dogs, I learn a few valuable lessons.1) Always set my alarm clock.2) Single dads are way hotter than I previously thought.3) It is possible to go from fantasizing about kissing someone to wishing they would be run over by a truck in a matter of two minutes.Unfortunately, I don't hold that opinion of him for very long. Not when he shows me a different side of himself--one that's sweet as maple syrup and hot as apple pie fresh out of the oven. Too bad this guy is so far out of my league that I shouldn't even be allowed to enter the game. Jake doesn't seem to get that memo though. And after a few days of working closely with him and his daughter, he starts looking at me with fire in his eyes, making me dream of something I probably shouldn't...A family. The Match is a feel-good romantic comedy! Perfect for readers who enjoy a sweet, sizzling romance without explicit content.

Book The Match: A Sweet Romantic Comedy (It happened in Charleston Book 1) Review :

5+ Stars!Y'all... where do I even begin to tell you about this book? Oh my stars how I loved it! From the moment I picked it up, I knew I would be losing sleep and skipping meals so I could devour it as fast as possible. Five hours is plenty of sleep and popcorn is the perfect breakfast, right?!I have learned that when a certain bookish friend *cough* *cough* Amiee *cough* *cough* tells me that I HAVE to read a certain book, that I better put whatever I'm reading down and start reading it. And, as usual, I was NOT disappointed!I quickly fell in love with all things Evie, Jake and Sam! I absolutely adored each of them in their own special way. Each of them were battling their own insecurities and hurt. But they quickly learned that with the right person/people by their side, they can overcome anything. The bond these three had was simply amazing! They felt so real, so down to earth, so relatable. I felt like I was one of their best friends and we were sitting by the side of their pool drinking lemonade while they told me their story. The Match is seriously just what I needed right now. But talk about an emotional rollercoaster! There were times that I shed a few tears, times that I was so mad that I wanted to jump through my kindle and Gibbs slap certain people with a freaking cast iron pan, but most importantly there was a lot of little dreamy sighs and a lot of laughter. Y'all... I lost count of how many times I literally busted out laughing. I may or may not have snorted a few times. And that sizzling chemistry that was jumping off the pages? YOWZERS! Butterflies were doing all kinds of dive bombs in my tummy! I turned into a big ol' pile of goo... and loved every minute of it! I can already tell you this is a book that I'll be reading over and over again and sharing it with all my bookish friends! If you haven't already guessed, the first book of Ms. Adams I've read was a screaming success! I'll definitely be grabbing her other books that have already been released. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!
Loved it! Truly the funniest book I've read in a long time! Several (literally) laugh out loud scenes/moments in this book and the heroine is probably in my top 5 favorite heroines of all time.Evie suffers from epilepsy and after acquiring a service dog, joins the company and helps others with special needs to connect with the perfect service dog for them. Enter the cutest supporting character ever, Sam, who tricks her dad into a meeting with the service dog company. Evie and Sam's dad, Jake, get off on a seriously wrong, but hilarious, foot and then unfolds the cutest story ever.Jake is an amazing dad, single parent or not. Everything about him and his family was heart warming.Evie is so loveable and spunky and I loved how she was never afraid to stand up for herself to her snooty parents. The internal monologue of both the H&h was extremely entertaining. The supporting characters were all perfect, even the unlikable ones.I seriously can't say enough how much I loved this book. I've read both of the author's regency era books and while I enjoyed them very much I think I'd still say this one takes the cake. Loved it!Side note: I recently met someone who was a volunteer for training service dogs and at the time I was with a friend who has a child with special needs. What an amazing service to help give someone a tool to have that kind of independence!Content: While I personally classify this book as clean there are a handful of kissing scenes and some minor innuendo that was not at all offensive to me.
